Season Rate Name: Rate Plan name (internal identification).
Discount: Discount to apply over the Rate Template.
Type: Rate Plan Type (Normal, Last Minute, Package, Promotions, Products).
Cancellation Policy: Edit cancellation policy that applies.
Title: Rate Plan name to present to the final clients.
Description: Short description (sales oriented).
Detail: Detailed information with explanation of specific conditions implied.
Note: When creating a Rate Plan, typologies can be applied to: Normal, Promotion, Last Minute or Packages. When you want to apply to a Rate Plan Promotion typology it must consider what features you want to highlight.
They are:
Visible on "Special Offers";
Application of minimum number of nights associated with a particular promotion (eg Christmas promotion with a minimum of 2 nights);
Price before discount with erasure highlighted in red;
Application minimum and maximum number of guest;
Application of free nights at check-in or check-out.
In this sense, one can have a rate Non-Refundable with different typologies, i.e. one normal and one Promotion depending on the intended purpose.
Update Availability Check Box
If you check this box, it will automatically update your Rate Plan if you change the Min and Max Nights Stay parameter and the value of the Discount.
